  • Cost £25 per hour

We have the following facilities and technology

  • Projector screen in the main room
  • Stand and boundary microphones in the main room which feed into the sound system to allow events in the main room to be listened to in the bar and/or attic
  •  The two cameras in the main room can be displayed on the 42in TV in the bar allowing events in the main room to be viewed in the bar
  • Sound levels can be individually controlled in each area.

Eg:

Comedy Night

  • Stand microphone feeds to speakers in main room
  • Boundary microphone 1 feeds to bar area
  • Camera 1 feeds to bar area
  • Spotify plays in the attic
  • During intervals Spotify plays on all floors & bar TV reverts to slideshow
  • Tables are removed and chairs are arranged in rows along with extra chairs from the attic

Gig in main room

  • Stand microphone feeds to speakers in main room
  • Boundary microphone 2 feeds to bar area & attic
  • Camera 2 feeds to bar area
  • During intervals Spotify plays on all floors & bar TV reverts to slideshow
  • Tables and chairs are removed

  • We can host your party, tailored to your requirements, to make your evening a night to remember. As an example:

    • Up to 20 guests
    • 20 shots on arrival for your guests
    • Hire of main room and snug on the 1st floor

    • £200 Gift card for you and your guests to spend during the night, anything left you can enjoy at a future date

Espresso based coffee drinks

Our Espresso blend changes during the year as different producing regions come into season, our present blend is 60% El Salvador Argentina Washed Bourbon 40% Costa Rica Al Alle Finca La Casa Yellow Honey.

  • Double Espresso (60ml) served with sparkling water
  • Macchiato - Double Espresso marked with milk
  • Cortado - 60ml of milk* + Double Espresso
  • Flat White - 100ml milk* + Double Espresso
  • Cappuccino - 125ml milk* + Single Espresso & 1 shot of Espresso on the side
  • Latte - 175ml milk* + Single Espresso & 1 shot of Espresso on the side
  • Caramel Latte - 175ml milk* + Single Espresso & 1 shot of Espresso on the side

250g bags of the Coffee Aroma Espresso blend are available to purchase. If you need it grinding please ask your barista.

Duchy organic traditional milk is not homogenised or standardised, so you enjoy seasonal variations in cream which naturally rises to the top. Produced by a small group of West Country farmers in Devon, Dorset and Somerset, chosen for their high standards of animal welfare.

Our Lactose Free Milk is made from regular cows’ milk which is filtered to remove half the lactose, the sugars naturally found in milk. An enzyme is then added to the milk to break down the remaining milk sugars which your body can easily absorb. As nothing else is added or removed, what you get is the nutritional benefits and great taste of regular milk just without the lactose.
